HICT: High Intensity Circuit Training
We often hear about “circuit training” or “functional training”.
HICT is a fitness program developed by scholars of the American College of Sports: this method, based on the alternation of short recovery periods in series of high intensity exercises, increases metabolic consumption with a significant variation in the ‘work out.
Over time, the staff of the S.T.A Tennis Academy has adapted a wide range of typical tennis exercises to HICT paradigms with encouraging results: more intense and engaging training sessions that adhere specifically to the tennis performance model.
